Here's some information about what you need to get a Hamden Public Library Card.

As it says on the page, a university ID by itself won't be enough.You can use that as your photo ID, but we'll also need "another form of proof of address: e.g. a bill or other 'official' mail, checkbook, insurance card or paystub".

If you live in another Connecticut town and have a library card from that town, we can check to see if you've used that card in any LION library. If not, we can add your card to our system using your photo ID and another form of proof of address, e.g. any of those listed above.
