The answer is yes but the details depend on whether you have a Kindle e-reader or a Kindle Fire tablet.

If you have a Kindle e-reader:

• You can borrow books from the library through OverDrive. Here is the link to the OverDrive catalog: https://lion.overdrive.com
• Choose Hamden Public Library. Sign in with your library barcode number, choose an available title, and click borrow. When prompted, choose the "Read with Kindle" option to be taken to the Amazon website, where you can sign in to your Amazon account and send the book to your Kindle.

• There is also a setting in Overdrive that allows  you to only view books available on Kindle.

If you have a Kindle Fire tablet:

• You can borrow books from the library through OverDrive AND Hoopla.
• You can download the apps for both services via the Amazon Appstore.
